After looking back at the photographs I took with the letter under the door I don't think the composition works. It only works because it shows cohesion with shot 1 (the retaken given image) and shows which flat (by the number on the door) the letter has been posted under. However, in the composition, the letter isn't dominant enough. At anyone looking at the photograph new the letter would only be seen a few moments after the first approach as they would look at the door ultimately and this is what shot 1 is supposed to do.
I could show the posting of the letter in other ways, I will try the following to see what works the best...
1. Show the hand of the flat owner placing the letter under the door- this will make sure the audience can see the letter closely, therefore being a main focus to that shot.
2.Show the actual flat owner placing it under the door, we will see the back of that person- this may withdraw a mystery into who is placing these letters under each door.
I will do some experiments over the next few days and gain feedback into what works best within the narrative.
