Circular Narrative Initial Proposal

Below is the initial proposal I have done for the circular narrative. After the first feedback session I should be able to consolidate my ideas and start establishing a storyboard and initial images.

For the circular narrative we are to create a series which start and end at the same photograph. I was given image 9, a flat door in a dark hallway; it also has a light reflection of another door which is slightly open opposite. It is a black and white image so I will need to imitate this in my sequence.
I have decided my door will be belonging to a block of flats. The flat will be on the bottom floor because of the opening to direct daylight will be essential to my story. The narrative will begin by my main character being on her way out. She then notices the fire exit opposite her flat is peculiarly left slightly open. Looking into the gap she will see a figure walking away from the exit and dropping something. The flat owner steps out to view what was dropped, by getting closer to the item she realises it is actually a ripped family photograph. She slowly recognizes this photograph realising she has the other half in her purse (pulling it out and fitting them together). She tries to catch up with the figure, wondering who it could be and why they would have the photo. A lost family connection will be found through the duration of the narrative, eventually the two characters will end up back at the flat to talk and therefore back at the given photograph of the door.
