For the circular narrative I was given an image, this image would be the start and end frame in a narrative sequence.
The photograph I was given was number 9, a hotel/ flat door in a dark hallway. On this door is a light reflection of a slight open door opposite the one seen. It is a black and white image, so I will need to stick with black and white for my sequence to make it cohesive.
The darkness of the hallway creates a negative feel to the scene. Because of this aspect I may want to play on the light opposite being the positive edge in my narrative.
The light looks to be natural, therefore the opening could be leading to the outside through an exit or window through the door.
I will need to put the door into a context so it is belonging to a flat or hotel room due to the number and peep hole on the door. I may want to re shoot the door but it needs to be very similar physically.
